Food lovers rejoice! The cream of Sydney’s fine dining scene meets the cream of thoroughbred racing once again for Royal Randwick’s Little Sydney this April.
That’s right, the gourmet dining experience that is Little Sydney will once again be gracing Royal Randwick with its divine culinary marquees during the height of the Sydney Carnival racing season, the Championships Days 1 and 2 in April.
Last year race-goers had the option of three all inclusive marquees: Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, Chiswick or China Doll. This year sees China Doll return along with two glorious newcomers: Catalina and Victor Churchill.
At $450 for a pop per person (or $375 for members), it doesn’t exactly come cheap, but with the promise of exquisite menus designed by each of the respective Head Chefs, premium drinks, live DJs, Pimms cocktails bars, access to the exclusive marquee plus Little Sydney marquee, private viewing screens of the day’s racing, complimentary parking, integrated travel on Sydney trains or buses from Central, all on top of access to the Members’ and General Admission areas (draw a breath), it ain’t such a bad deal! Start saving now (or nagging your boss for a company work do).
